My AWD Hybrid Fiero used front wishbone/strut assemblies from an '87 Accord (IIRC). My internet sleuthery tells me that the dampers from an EF Civic should work as well. I'd like to find a used set of adjustable dampers, as stock Honda dampers just aren't up to the task on my application. I'm hoping that a combination of better dampers and bushings will improve a few issues I've got with my suspension right now. I prefer used because I'm trying to keep the challenge-friendly budget. I've been watching ebay/craiglist without much success, I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here even if it is a longshot.

If it's more interesting than cash, I'd be willing to trade some used, "not blown but just too soft" aftermarket (Gabriel? ...blue colored) dampers plus cash or any other leftovers from my $2009 Fiero build that would help keep the budget challenge worthy. It's a pretty odd collection of leftovers, from Fiero EGR hardware to Prius battery computers to electric S10 parts!

For those of you who spend more time than me on Honda forums, if you see any used adjustable dampers for sale, I'd appreciate a heads up.

Thanks!

Bryce

Honda dampers are still in pretty strong demand. (I've been looking for a set too but find they still bring strong money). I've known a few people who have found then on cars in scrapyards so you may want to look around at your local yards.

I'm like a hawk at local yards! Like you said, lots of people want aftermarket parts for these so stuff goes fast. I know it's a longshot, but it doesn't hurt to try!

The EF shocks are longer than the 3rd gen Accord stuffs.
