Replaced this Focus with an Avalon in the fleet.
There is ZERO wrong with the Focus. It runs great for what it is, basic transportation.
I had the car shipped to Ohio 1.5yrs ago from Jacksonville. Not "showroom quality" of rust free but unlike any other Focus you see in Northern Ohio.
Oh, the comedy...
So far I have gotten texts from a Wyoming based number and a San Bernardina, CA based number both with a variation of wanting the car urgently and is "it" still available.
No response given to either.
I got into a somewhat long text dual at 11pm last night with someone who ultimately wanted me to drive 1 hr west so they could look at the car. I politely stated that I might not be able to make time for this this holiday weekend.
Moments ago I got a text offer of $1,500 cash now. I sent him back two local ads of rusty Focuses in his spending price range. I further stated that I had some room to move on price but not that much room.
Not bad for one day.
Just after I wrote that above, I got a call from a local couple in their 40's/50's looking for a car for their college aged son. They stopped right out after seeing, took it for a drive and said they would like 24 hrs to think about it.
I think they liked it. Maybe they will, maybe they wont.

That sounds good. But they have obviously bigger bills. Hopefully they realize a headache free purchase is better than penny pinching. Good luck.
They called back.
Meeting at his bank today at 1:00 to exchange $2k.
I figured it would sell to the first person who drove it.
EDIT: SOLD
