(mine should be yours)
Sweet van. We've had this beast for 4 years and it has done us good. We bought a newer one, and this just got me down and back to the challenge - towing the Saab Ute one way.
I have it listed on CL for $2k because everyone will offer half. I want $750 from a grmer.
221k miles.
Developed a large power steering leak on the way home from challenge. Put in a pint with each gas tank. We follow the maintenance minder on the dash, but it has never said to do a timing belt (that is one of the things it is supposed to remind you to do), so I've never done a timing belt in my ownership (150k miles to 221k miles), it has to be due soon. Transmission is slow to shift from reverse to drive, but seems to drive fine for 221k miles. Sometimes a shudder or hard shift but again, 221k miles. Brakes shudder a bit when using them on the highway. Some cosmetic damage.
Alarm goes off randomly. This is super annoying, did it two nights in a row on vacation at my in laws house. I got a great reputation with the in laws for that. I keep a 10mm wrench in the car and unhook the battery all the time now.
Runs and drives great, good heat, ac, heated seats, great stereo. No cel. 4 matching Goodyear with good tread. Leather and plastic pieces are 98% rust free. Seats 8. Makes a good challenge support vehicle.
Would make a great winter beater. I'm 100% confident in this vehicle (well, except for the timing belt).
Erm, apparently I am not a good judge of the value of my van. Phone is blowing up with Craigslist folks.
Well that escalated quickly

Yep, I did not expect that at all...
I woulda done a fly and drive for that at .75 large. Looking at the local Craigs in San Francisco, you were about a grand light at 2k.
I wasn't even finished reading the posting and started scrolling down for contact info. Find me another one like that and I'll pay double
Sorry guys. It really wasn't as nice as it looks in that photo (dunno how I did that).
Body damage on the passenger side - dent in the fender and significant scratches, and both sliding doors don't really work electronically. You have to physically manhandle the doors open and shut.
Engine was making a noise as well that would come and go. It could have been the tensioner or any other pulley on the belt (sort of sounded like that), or it could have been one of the $600 active motor mounts going south.
There really is at least 20 hours of work in that van before it would be something I'd hand to my family to drive.
Two people came to look last night, first guy offered $800. The other guy was pulling into the driveway as he made the offer so I didn't even counter.
EDIT: I did not sell to the first guy for $800. I sold to the second guy. I see that could be confusing with the way I worded it before.
There’s one doing “not bad” at Mid-Ohio Lemons race right now.
Same mini-van that slapped around a couple of classic sports cars on a track with just the addition of some new shoes if I recall correctly.
