Me: “Would it be okay if I drive to New York today and buy this $1200 Rolls Royce?"
Wife: [glances at photo] "No."

Winner!
Both appear to be Ford chassis. Buy a power stroke f350 dually with a rotted body and this rolls.
Judging by the rear quarter panel damage it's been drifted harder than your average 240sx. But hey the spawn of CCC had some fun with a Roller.

But then the suspension wouldn't work. It's a shared system and the pressures are interdependent
Lets face some reality here, no one is going to fix that crazy complicated hydraulic system. That car will be purchased for parts, or for the bodyshell and then rebuilt with a completely different drivetrain. I am sure some basic part like an alternator for a Rolls Royce costs more that the asking price..... So gut it, part it out, fit a GM truck drivetrain, rig up a decent brake system, fix the bodywork and use it for the Challenge or Lemons/Chump car.
I already asked my wife, her response was " you will not be bringing the first Rolls Royce to the Challenge"

That was my thought. Rusty Silverados are easy enough to find but I’ve come to expect a certain level of class for my winter beater.

But I don't want anybody to do anything but burn it to the ground!
I had to work on 8 various RR cars from 76-92 over a year. I have a scorn for them that is unrivaled.
My least favorite was the rear suspension sphere job on a 92 convertible. The first 40 hours of labor on that one was the removal of the entire hydraulically operated top and mechanism. Then 45 minutes of sphere replacement and another 40 hours to reassemble.
THEY ARE A REGULAR MAINTENANCE ITEM FER CHRISSAKE!
Okay, so better idea, take the front clip and rear taillight panel and graft it on an old Lincoln. Sell off the rest of the parts to get your $1,200 back and eliminate all the over engineered crap.
Common on, someone needs to do it, I bet it can be purchased for much less. Think of the prestige of showing up in a Roller at next year's Challenge, talk about ruling the "aristocrat" class!
