Funny Cars have a flap in the roof for escape purposes. So that’s the solution.
The BatVan only had one door, what if it rolled onto that side and caught on fire? What if the Sebring landed on the lid?

Someone's put a ton of work into that thing only to unload it for $1500. I wonder why they don't source a cheap running engine and throw it in there.
As far as emergency egress: I bet those plexi windows would kick out really easily.
