How has noone bought these yet?
Is either of these roadworthy enough to drive on the street or would one have to make two trips to tow them both away?

I would feel comfortable driving the TC within an hour or two distance, I've never had it out much longer than that. I've only driven the Capri about 5 miles ever, I would personally trailer that one.
I met up with DRMonterey today (maybe yesterday by the time I post this....) and he's a stand up guy. Definitely fits in with the GRM crowd. I took a glance over the Capri and the TC while I was there, and the pics do make them look a bit better than they are. I don't think I'd feel too bad about using the Turbo Coupe for parts, and normally I'm all about saving things. The Capri is definitely a project, but they're cool cars and you just don't see them much anymore. Someone (besides me!) should make it happen. I'm definitely seeing some rallycross potential there.
I've chatted with DRMonterey as well. I am awaiting a couple more pics and a video of the turbo coupe, but I am planning to pick it up. The Spitfire is going to love its new organ donor.

The turbo coupe is in my possession as of Saturday. It was incredibly wet loading it up as it took an hour or so in the pouring rain since it doesn't want to start right now, but DRMonterey was super cool and I'm looking forward to the possibilities this car opens up for the challenge car!

That is the goal! As long as I can get everything well sorted before the challenge I think it will do pretty well.

I forgot about this, and anyway I bought an S60R and an RX-3?
By the way, DRMonterey was super cool and helpful. I haven't touched the car yet, but I would buy again from him in a heartbeat.
