I will sell this badboy to a GRM'er for $2,000.00. I picked it up from a local donation place recently but I really don't need it.
It is a 1998 model with a 5-speed manual transmission and the 4.3 liter v6. It has the ZQ8 option package with a faster steering box, bigger sways etc...
It drives well and is in decent shape overall. No rust and the AC works.
Negatives include a drivers seat that has a non functional recline lever and a bypassed heater core.
PM me your contact info and we can discuss if you have any questions.

Beautiful. If it were about 1000 miles further north I'd be taking a pretty serious look at it
GLWS!
Ugh, the want is strong. I haven't seen one that clean up here since high school. I really wish this was within a one day round trip, not sure I can convince swimbo this is worth a whole weekend to pick up. Swimbo also hasn't had to work on cars that lived in this salty E36 M3hole we call Ohio, so she just don't understand.

Stampie came up here for an s10 from Jacksonville last weekend, so you can’t say it’s too far. Jeremy is a good guy and that’s a gorgeous little truck. Do it
Honestly I could probably talk swmbo into it. Her dad had a square box v6 auto that she misses dearly, and she'd love to learn stick in something other than a Vette. A full-size truck would likely fit my needs better, but it'd be pretty easy to get $2k worth of milage out of this. MPGs have to be better than the hearse.
Brb, checking flight costs.
Edit: crap, flights are really cheap to Jacksonville, and I thought it was more than a 13 hour drive home.

I do the Gainesville to Ann Arbor run every year after the Challenge. Leave Florida early and home in my own bed the same day. You can do this.
I've driven a few of these in the past with the suspension and thought they were very fun to drive. It's a good buy for someone. The 5 speed/4.3 combo even better yet
ext cab, 4.3 / 5MT, ZQ8, not a rustbucket. that's a great truck.

Sale pending to racing computers...
If no sale I has BMW wagon for trade
Truck is relocating a bit north to Charlotte in a couple of weeks.
May have to get the heater core replaced?
Time will tell
If you need a guy very familiar with these trucks, im over in Albemarle.
All:
Dad is in hospital
Please let the next person have the truck
Thanks
Big Al
Wish this was closer. It would be a good replacement for my current truck. Then again, if it was closer, it would have holes in the frame and no bedsides or rockers.
Anyone know what the tow rating would be on this thing? I'm having a hard time finding a straight answer from the googles.
Also, how soon would this thing need to be picked up? Would you "trust" it to drive back to ohio? CEL on?
In reply to Dead_Sled :
because manual trans, tow rating is 3500 lbs. with automatic, it would be 5000 lbs.
