My opinion is irrelevant as I've never competed, much less attended a challenge, but to me a Fit is 100% a hatchback and 0% a wagon. Maybe we should ask Nick for a final ruling.

Yes! I've done multiple summers up and down the east coast tenting: it was intense (that never gets old). Also an entire NH winter in a tent, most of one in a yurt and many weeks living out of a kayak on the water.
But I was mostly referencing the change in living/marital status that would occur should I bring another 20yr-old wagon home... 3 is 3 too many for the wife. And I don't think she'll let the toddler and I sleep in the back permanently, although that was the only way to get freshies back in my ski bum days.
Curious about this one. Your skanky girl cousin doesn't help....
