The motor mounts need to be replaced, I haven't felt like doing it yet. It does run rough when cold but I also haven't looked into that too much. It could use shocks, especially in the rear.
I have too many other project cars and don't want to work on this one. The rust around the windshield is probably the worst part.
$700 OBO for GRM.
Looks like a pretty solid deal. Do you have a closer pic of the windshield rust area in question?
I spy an XR4ti in the background. Want to trade for another one? I'll second the motion for more pictures of the rust.
I'll get some more pictures of the rust. What's wrong with the xr?
Its an automatic, cracked windshield, crappy muffler shop exhaust, and lack of clear coat are the main negatives. It is rust free, has like 88k miles, and is dual wing equipped!
I've never seen one rust around the windshield. That's bizarre. How's the driver's side floor pan?
A/C compressor status? Think it'd be ready for a 3 hour trek to ne ohio?
Yea, I hadn't ever seen one with rust there before, not sure how it happened.
The A/C doesn't blow cold, I will have to check if the compressor clutch is engaging. I never looked into it.
It shouldn't have any problem with a drive north, I drove it to Norwalk and back one day (200 miles) with no issues.
The driver floor pans seems solid, I can take a picture underneath tomorrow.
could this be a new home for my trick flow 5.0HO?!!!!

I bet someone replaced the windshield and didn't seal/prep the area properly
Could be, mine had very similar rust along the top and bottom edges.
If nobody buys it I may have to follow through with my constant desire to build a Volvo pickup.

Last minute challenge build?
It would definitely be last minute.

Not if you want to make it a sleeper.
The engine mounts are replaced now. It feels a little better when the engine is held in with more than just gravity.
