I will trade you all the things (even money) for the one you don't want.
Damn, I just checked dimensions. They’re almost 16’ long so two won’t fit in the 28’ trailer.

Sure they will, just load one car, then build a ramp to roll the 2nd car over the back of the first.
Do they always travel in pairs? When I lived on Long Island there was a gas station with a pair of black Zils

You need to find your inner "Cuban".... :)
Or take the body off and drop it onto something common.
The receptionist at my old high school used to drive a black Lincoln that had a "Mafia Staff Car" bumper sticker on it. It would be awesome to race these with some sort of similar "KGB Pursuit Squad" markings on them.
I don’t want to race them, too cool to chop up. I chop everything up, so one time I really just want to get something quirky and leave it original
In reply to Patrick :
You have the panhard for that.
Or, buy these. One to chop up, one original. Chopping the one will give you a bunch of spares for the stocker.
In reply to drainoil :
I can't. I'm weird. I like to keep things stock or modified using period parts for that make/model. Although I do dream about dropping a 200bhp bike engine in a bugeye soooooooo
In reply to Patrick :
You will never, ever see your doppleganger heading the other direction. Heck, you can probably rent it out to Hollywood at times.
In reply to Patrick :
Not sure what kind of power a Volga makes, but you could stick a truck motor in one, leave it stock appearing and use it to tow the Panhard racer to vintage races on an open trailer. Leave the other one stock for other uses.

Oddly enough I saw a Jay Leno show about one of these cars. Short version: 1500cc, I don't remember the power but top speed was around 70-80mph.
I didn't watch very much, Jay Leno can be cringeworthy when he's not doing comedy. He kept ragging on the build quality, but he should know better, since he's familiar with 1960s cars from just about every other manufacturer, and they're universally junk by most standards.

Um... Just ask Tim how to do that. I observed the GRM trailer in person at Carlisle with two triumphs inside stacked like that.
