I still have the following:

Offenhauser 360 intake for 351w. Located in 19539. $60 + shipping for this if I don't have to do anything involving eBay? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ofy-5883/overview/make/ford

Ford small block headers. Homemade. Equal length. Painstakingly done back in the day. 4 individual 1.75" pipes into slip-on 4-1 collectors to 3" dumps. So, you know, race-car-LOUD. They'll fit a 289 in a '67 mustang, and any 302 and 351 heads as well but I can't say anything about chassis clearance in other vehicles. $Beer? My dad made these a long time ago and I would love to see them used. Located in 19539. I am not sure they are any better performance wise than off the shelf options available today but they're cheap!

Edit: The majority of the stuff was hauled off by VolvoClearingHouse (thanks!) as we needed the garage empty by a deadline. He has some of it for sale now, see post on page 2.

Headers are spoken for, 3 or 4 people interested, all in Florida, so I need to get off my ass and pack them for shipping now that the holidays are over. I'll get back in touch with the guy who was first in a day or two, if he doesn't want them any more I'll go to guy #2, etc.

If anyone needs a set of 302 heads farther south I have a set as well. Off a 94 GT with ~120k on it.

Pickup in 33478 (Jupiter FL)

engine pics - note I was wrong, it is not complete, some pullies and accessories are missing. What you see is what you get. Heck, same goes for anything else left in the garage when you show up. Pretty sure there is still an old engine hoist (non folding type) and engine stand too.

And a reminder from my first thread, I am only told it is a 390. I don't know these things by heart. If there's a way to identify it that a 60 year old woman with no mechanical knowledge can verify, let me know and I will have my mom check. It's at her place. You load. And it was turning freely 5 years ago, no clue about now. This is why it is free.

A 390 would be a FE engine and that's not one. It may be a "Cleveland" (351C, 351M, or 400M) engine as the exhaust ports scream "Cleveland" to me.

Looking further I'm going to say it's more likely a 429/460.

I would love the headers, if you're willing to ship (32606). I have a 302 Challenge project they would be perfect for!

Motor looks like 351C then a FE/429-460/Modified. Small block bell pattern, 460 style ports, water neck...

Hahahaha I'll take 3rds on the headers. I know of a 68 with a 289 in it that would love them.

I concur that it's definitely not an FE series. It's most likely a Cleavland or 400m, IIRC, the water outlet on the 429/460 is different and a bit farther back.

A 351C would make sense, as it was definitely the 'oddball' in the garage and that's why it never got used. Race cars all had 289/302/351W in them. It does not look like a big block 429/460 to me, having spent a bit of time around a 460 F-350, this seems an order of magnitude smaller.

Anyone actually wants it, let me know. As long as YOU have a way to load it, you can pick up about anytime because I can have my mom just roll it outside next time she is in the area. (it's in the garage of her old house which is now for sale)

Ok, engine can go outside on Thursday, and chance of rain is 0% for Thurs-Fri-Sat-Sun. If anyone wants to pick it up this weekend let me know. If you're coming to get the engine you are also welcome to (2) Ford automatic transmissions, either C4 or C6, been sitting in a shed for 25 years.

Would the hoist in the garage be enough to get it into a pickup?

It should be, but bring hydraulic fluid and hand tools in case, the thing is ancient. I am not positive there is a handle with it at the moment, so have a large screwdriver or 1/2" steel rod to jack it up, pliers for release valve.

The custom little stand the engine is bolted to has wheels, so maybe if you have a long enough ramp....?

I can have mom confirm the presence and functionality (with no load) of the hoist on Thursday and update you.

Regarding the headers, if someone wants to jump the queue you can do so by picking them up this weekend so I don't have to deal with boxing up 10 individual pieces of tube well enough to survive the trip. If still here on Sunday they're getting shipped to Florida on Monday.

Heads are nothing special. They are the standard run of the mill E7TE's available from 87-95 302/351 Windsors. Only difference worth mentioning is head bolt size, 7/16" for 302/5.0 and 1/2" for 351/5.8.

I would like that 351C if possible but have no chance of coming to get it. Anybody able to bring it to Daytona for the Rolex for me?
