I'm going to go look at some of these cars just out of curiosity, but none are necessarily in my wheelhouse.

MGB GT's are not as common. Sprite looks like it mainly has Texas faded paint rust. Wonder how the floorboards are for all three. A complete Sprite with hardtop for $500 really isn't a bad deal.
Does he just have a random collection of cars or was it once a British car junkyard? I ask because I sold my '67 Triumph GT6 to a British car junkyard near Ft. Worth about 25 years ago though it would be neat if it was the same place.

I don't know about the owner and his history, but I'm going to go look at the cars he has. I'm hoping the condition is good.

I think that's an aftermarket top for a Datsun 1600.

Nope. Red. Nothing like a light weight, big (ish) motor, goofy rear suspension, red sports car for a 16 year old...... I'm really surprised I didn't get in more trouble with that car.
