NMNA.
My buddy's got a 912 engine sitting on the bench and there's always room for a ZX-11.
Had a good talk with this Guy, No not about the Renault, 'Bout that 2 door Biscayne Its a 427/ t400, but not a numbers car.
I am thinking about going over in a day or two to look at it(chebby).I'll poke around the Renault if someone wish's though I know it's likely not as good as the Pic's.
Oy. Well, yeah, kinda......
My adled brain sees wings off the back, satin black and a ZX-11. So, yeah, lemme know.
I'm NOT BATMAN But sure. I was tinkin' Corvair engine/trans But how to make it turn ??? Race here sunday but if we don't go I'll Head to Carrollton.
I had one of these, a '61. There is no room for a Corvair engine, and barely enough room for a Bug engine. You'd have to swap out the entire rear suspension and transaxle if you did a swap as the rear axles are located by internal mechanisms in the transaxle (no trailing arms or really any arms to control the rear suspension). The entire rear suspension thus can barely handle the stock 28 hp. On mie I was going to swap the entire R5 (leCar) front suspension/transaxle into it with trailing arms and suspension locators in order to not have weird camber and toe problems like it has stock. I also had a 100 hp Gordini (Volvo marine) engine for it that would just bolt in.
These things are TINY! Makes a Beetle look huge. All I can say if do it and document it. Would love to see a cool little 4CV on the road. And luckily, it's too far away from me.
Don't be distressed the tires are probably the weak link on your Trailer, It would likely go in a Mid size U haul truck.
