I have a 99 Grand Cherokee with a bad rod knock. It will likely need a crank, but if anyone has a compatible motor for cheap I would swap them.

Lower Peninsula Michigan

99+ Grand Cherokee or 2000+ Wrangler motor will fit.

Anyone know it the Cherokee ever got the newer 4.0?

Where is the move to button? Meant for this to be ALL THINGS.

If by "newer 4.0" you mean the ones that came with Coil on Plug rather than distributor, then a 2000-2001 Cherokee will fit the bill for you.
