Hey guys, so I am looking for a second set of wheels for my 97 miata. Looking at one of two options:

  1. A set of decent looking, fairly lightweight, wheels to put summer tires on and use the current wheels for snow tires.
  2. A set of wheels for snow tires. Preferably not ugly, or super heavy.

Oh, and of course, the cheaper and closer to Waynesboro, PA, the better! Let me know if you have anything.

I've got a set of steelies and a pair of stock 7 spokes that was previously plastidipped black. Both 14x6. Bit of a ride towards Pittsburgh for you, but either set is available cheap.

I have a set of NA8 stock wheels that have been powder coated charcoal grey. $100+ shipping. I also have a set of early wheels, the 14X5.5 that I think are straight, but look like they were painted with an old sock. $25 + shipping.

I have a pair of fairly ratty seven spokes that you can have for nothing if you can pick them up in western Connecticut.

A friend of mine has a set of 4 Daisy wheels with original, OEM Yokohamas still mounted to them. No cracks, dry rot or anything. If someone were doing a numbers-matching Miata concours resto they'd be invaluable. As they are, he wants $100 for the set of 4. He's in Hanover, PA. PM me for contact info.

In reply to RevRico: I will send you an email. Need some pics. ;)

In reply to TiggerWelder: Both of those sound very interesting to me. I will send you an email.

In reply to woody: Probably a little far for me, but I'll keep that in mind.

In reply to volvoclearinghouse: I know beggars can't be choosers, but I don't like the daisy wheels.
