Need a th350 chevy pattern transmission in working condition for a likely future challenge car. Do not care if long or short tailshaft, just needs to be functional and cheap and the closer to NE ohio the better.

I can do cheap in southcentral Kentucky but can't promise functional. Untested, pulled it out of a 350 swapped '86 Firebird. Long shaft with a spacer and short tail housing with torque arm mount.
I have one that I was told is good but I don't know first hand if it is. I'm in shelby county ohio. I would take a set of aluminum wheels that would fit a beretta (5×100) or some rally or good snow tires in the neighborhood of 185-75-14, or farm implements or a small trailer I could hook to my tractor, or power tools that are better than what I have. I'm open to most trade offers really. Or offer me cash I guess.
I have a known good bop th350c and a Chevy bolt pattern torqueflight 904 that we could probably swap for vw stuff. Let me know, I can get something as far as Columbus this weekend.
In reply to gearheadmb :
It's a jeep thing, behind an Iron Duke.
The 904 is probably not th350 strong, but it was used by some racers because it didn't have as much driveline loss as a lot of other automatics and they can be built reasonably stout.

Depends on which vw stuff. I have a $20 chevy engine to bop trans adapter from summit’s clearance rack. Hit the contact button it usually comes through
I bet really It's a BOP engine to Chevy Trans adapter,LoL, BOP tranny cases are harder to find and when using a 400 even fewer still reason is more chevy cars had short shaft trannys.

Funny but I have 3 BOP, 1 Chevy, and 1 preBOP Cadillac 400 trans here. Guess it depends on what hoard you look at.

Nope it’s chevy to BOp trans.

I should have guessed it was a jeep thing. They are the reason I used to have two th400's with amc bolt patterns. Jeep was so weird.
got a th400 and converter for $50 today. BOP pattern so i need to use my adapter, but it’ll work. Cheaper than i hoped.
