seems cheap even needing an engine potentially. 
here's another example four years younger and obviously rusty. NMNA. $1k. Also not running but been on CL for more than a fortnight whilst the above just popped up a few hours ago.
Interesting listing with the first one.
I have replaced a lot of parts on it and I think it needs a new engine. It does run but only idles. Once you give it gas, it dies. It's just pissing me off.

That doesn't sound like it needs a new engine to me...that sounds like new wires/plugs, and maybe some new gasoline.
Or clean injectors, or even an adjusted idle switch. Definite potential.
