When I saw Wesley Chapel first thing I thought of was that is in Charlotte!!!    WRONGGGGG.

Wouldn't that be a 3.0 liter?

In reply to spitfirebill :

It is a 3 liter.  You can tell by the cool intake runners.

Do these guys not own leaf blowers? I get that it's cheap but 10 minutes with the BR250 (or equivalent) and it's almost presentable. Heck, get the hose out for another 10 minutes and it is. Leaving it with leaves piled up on it just looks ghetto. Or redneck. Or something...

Until I looked at this on my desktop, I didn't realize the engine was transverse.

It's an engine donor. Or a manual swap donor. Worth it for either of those but not worth fixing up. They make a Lancia Stratos replica that uses this engine, and it sounds amazing. People also upgrade their GTV6s using these engines. A bit of hacking and you can drop this engine and tranny into an X1/9 for a poor man's Lancia Stratos. Like so:

I would never have thought that engine would fit in an X 1/9.

I think it was a pretty tight fit.
