I wonder about that "will deliver" part.
He's probably afraid if he takes it off that trailer it will break in half. Better to get cash in hand before they try to back it off. 
Seems like they REALLY want this to be used as a lawn ornament. What's in it for them???

I think it is written that way since it is likely to break up into three pieces if you try to get it off the trailer.
