you'll want the 7.3 powerstroke if pulling over any hills. They make for great support vehicles with all the lockable tool boxes built in.
I don't see how it can be priced that low. Low mileage reported, but it has probably idled for 2 hours for every hour driven.
It's an IDI and good on fuel it's slow. I have thought of buying one but with a 7.3 PS. The down side is all of the work I'd have to do to make it what I want from what it is. Plus I have it on good authority that working on any diesel powered Ford van or van based vehicle is a royal bitch!
Love my '02 Powerstroke E450 Ambulance. Had a stack of receipts an inch thick, in the last 2 1/2 years I've rebuilt the rear diff and replaced the lifter pump and some associated items, but other than that it's been normal wear & tear. 9-10 mpg towing an open trailer, but that's not going slow either. Would like to hook up a tach to see just what I'm turning, but it's been to Watkins Glen, Daytona, and quite a few places in between.
Had one as a camper - the amount of built in storage space is INCREDIBLE and you couldn't build that box for 10x what the whole thing is selling for.
