Associated with me. It's my great-uncle's, he's owned it since new. Hasn't been driven in years. I personally saw it started up a couple years ago (I helped to start it) so it can run. I forget what year it is, maybe '68. It's the one that has a massive V8, like 8 liters or something. The car is huge. It's loaded with all the luxury-power stuff (8 power windows!). It has some new/spare parts with it.
Here's what I know about it:
-
It's really big
-
It's not particularly rusty from what I can tell
-
The original interior is mostly all there, though probably pretty dirty
-
Drivetrain is there
-
It's big.
-
Title free and clear.

Trunk can fit your Miata inside. No idea what's in there currently (dead bodies, large machines, 15 tires, who knows...)
Here's the deal: My uncle is in a home now, and his family is liquidating his stuff ASAP so they can sell the property. For the car, they'd probably take whatever you are willing to offer for it. I personally think $2k is fair (but what do I know), but they'd probably take half that or less (or any offer), honestly.
You will have to come get it (in Clifton, VA just south of DC), come load it (God knows how, it's huge), and take it away. This needs to happen fast, as a picker company is coming to the property soon, and once that happens everything there is theirs to take/get rid of as they choose. So, this has to happen fast! Not doing the whole tire-kickers thing, they have a million things going on and don't have time to show the cars constantly. If you want it, show up with cash and take it.
Contact me directly via GRM email and I'll put you in touch with my aunt. I'm only posting it here on GRM so as not to wast time with Craigslisters or spammers or whatever. Again, please only contact me if you are 95%+ sure you want to come get it within the next week. Otherwise, it'll just go to the pickers or whatever.
Here are a few pics. I can't get more pics at the moment (I took these this morning), so these will have to do.
Love it. Wish I had the spare coin and acreage.
I sure hope someone here snags this up. Looks worth it and that giant boat is just plain cool
These are a big block beast, 472cc with 375 hp. I had a Coupe that even with one bad cylinder wold literally smoke everyone off the line.
The weight transfer to the rear tires, helped by the soft as butter shocks was epic. Turning and stoping, not so much.
Taking out the carpet and insulation will likely save you 200lbs. But be ready for that guarantied to have GM trunk smell.
That gen Caddy with the stacked headlights is my favorite... Hmmm, how can I make this work? Has it been parked in that spot for so long that undercarriage is complete rust? Tires seem to hold air. No way it fits on my econotrailer or Yukon could pull it... But my buddy with the larger trailer and diesel.... Hmmm
I tried emailing email in profile.... Email kicked back. Email me at mlodsin at the gmails, if you could.

It's been parked there for a few years, but it's not a "wet" area, and it's 50 years of solid gravel driveway. I glanced underneath last year and don't recall it looking particularly rusty. I can't say I've looked too closely though. I pumped up the tires a few months ago when I was visiting, so yeah they appear to at least hold air (though they're pretty old).
Yeah, would definitely need a big trailer. Definitely wouldn't fit on my 18-foot haha....this car is mighty large, for sure.
My email is my username "at" yahoo.com

yeah, I don't think GRM likes gmail or yahoo emails for some reason. Mine always get kicked back too.
They're not that hard to trailer. I brought my first '66 home on a borrowed trailer with a first-gen Tundra, including 10,000' passes. Not sketchy.
So much want, so little capacity.
Man, if I had body work skills this thing would be an El Cadamino

I have hauled my 1960 Sedan Deville on my 18' open trailer.
It overhangs front and rear, but it does fit.
my trailer has a permanent rack assembly on the front, so can't overhang there. Hell, my e30 rear bumper sits above the rear bar of the trailer when we tow with the tool box aboard.
All that said, I'm not towing this thing anywhere regardless. If one of you wants it, up to you to get it!
Tow dolly with driveshaft removed?
Edit: If you have to rent one from U-Haul, lie! Tell them you're hauling a Miata with a full size truck, otherwise they won't give it to you.
