I just picked up an 82 380sec and need a set of headlights for it. Driver quality and functional is all I need. Any leads appreciated.

I've never messed with a coupe—would second-gen W126 sedan lights work?

They should be sealed beam. So you can just go to the parts store.

Unless you got a grey market car. In which case, eBay.

Gods luck, I had a 500SEC about 12-15 years ago. It was a lot of fun.

Unfortunately the sedan lights won't work.

Also, I should have clarified. I need the housings and all.

Just make sure you don't end up with housings off a right hand drive car.

What year? I'd like to update the front end of my 83.

I'm also not opposed to an entire parts car, but would really just like to get the assemblies and make this thing whole again.

Man I almost asked you because I thought you were parting out a coupe at one point, but I just bought it over the weekend, so would have been too late anyway. This one came with a set of euro lights, so I took them to use on my 560.

Yeah I was parting one but I had to throw a lot away b8ecause I got tired of looking at it. But, lots of parts laying around in southern California.

C126 with euro bumpers etc for $1000

You guys are lucky. So many cool rust free cars in CA....every time I go to visit my sisters I do a little car shopping. One of these days I'll find something I can't live without and roadtrip it back.

There's very little in the way of coupes in my area. I did find one reasonably priced headlight in Atlanta, but would prefer to just grab a pair. I'm not in a big hurry, so surely something will pop up eventually.

Sorry, just saw this, she was a 91. They probably need cleaning and all but they were good. I just pulled them to put in euro healights back in the day and never put them back in when I sold the car so they've just been sitting.

How much are you asking? Have anything else W126-related?

Sorry to derail, Cotton.

No problem at all! At least this keeps it on the front page to get me a little more traffic.
