It was announced that Motovicity Distribution, a wholesale performance parts distributor located in Madison Heights, MI, will sponsor the Import Face-Off Series’ Forced Induction Pro Class. The events are scheduled to run through December, 2012 across the nation. Import Face-Off was founded in 2001 by Cliff Wallace, an LSU graduate and racing enthusiast. The series has become very well recognized throughout the industry as the most innovative Import series in the U.S. Its popularity amongst enthusiasts has kept the series alive while many others have disappeared. “Motovicity is really excited to be a part of this series. The season is finally upon us and I can literally smell the race gas while thinking about it. We are all enthusiasts through and through so sponsoring the Import Face-Off was a no-brainer. The series really boasts what our industry is all about.” stated Yoni Kellman, Marketing/Creative Projects Manager at Motovicity Distribution and racing enthusiast. “We look forward to heading out to some of these events. We may even bring our Subaru WRX, Moto1.” said Kellman. Motovicity Distribution is well known throughout the industry as the North American Distributor of choice for high performance aftermarket parts. They are headquartered in Madison Heights, MI and were founded in 2002. Motovicity’s Staff includes SCCA Racers, ASE Certified Mechanics, Industry Photographers, and Contributing Writers for industry magazines. “We really are the industry. That will never change. Being that we are all from the Motor City, cars are simply in our blood. We have worked hard to get where we are today, with over 140 high performance brands on our shelves at all times and we have extremely good relationships with each and every one of those vendors.” says Kellman. “The most important job that we have is promoting the industry and educating the next generation of enthusiasts. We encourage all enthusiasts and people that are just interested in cars to come out to at least one of these events and see what it’s all about.” stated Kellman.
