Has GRM ever done homemade aero?

Just curious for track cars. If so, what issue??

We just did something on underbody diffusers--specifically for track cars. A little while back we did something a little more general on aero--should be the May 2010 issue. It had a white WRX on the cover.

The diffuser piece was well received, so I have a feeling more aero stories are on the way.

You are right. It took me days to get the time to be able to read it all and digest it and now I have it bookmarked.

There's some real good work done there.

There was good aero tech not too long ago for the LeGrand project, too. We chose a wing profile based on what Formula SAE drivers used and so on. It was more for autocross speeds, but the principles still applied.

There are a couple of good aero threads in that section of the forum. The race prep section is a standout.
