Talking to the team...... most spoilers are actually around 3:1 lift:drag...... which is horrible. Though they are typically simple and better than nothing.
This particular application is pretty neat though. I thought it was worth sharing.

Same foil shape, so still efficient. Up to 74" wide and the chord on this big ole boy is 12.25". As an example, our first test car was initially balanced with a 71" aluminum wáng with 3/4" gurney flap at 5* AOA. Swapping to the carbon wáng it was balanced at 2* AOA, no gurney flap.
