I need pics of removable SM legal wings and possibly tips on making one.
What's an "SM legal Wing"?
I know lots of people don't like Aero because it's hard. But I never thought it reached the point of being Saddistic or Masochist? Maybe I'm just a Buffalo in Denial?
I'm 99.9% sure they are entirely forbidden by the rules. Feel free to post the rules by whichever sanctioning body you are running under but I've never seen a spec miata with a wing. It's a "low cost" class designed to not have these contests to begin with.
I would contact 9 lives racing. They should be able to answer your question. I assume SM means street modified and not spec Miata in this question.

I'd guess street modified for scca autocross rules
can you give me the tl;dr on those? buffalos and scca ax rules don't mix.
I assume there's a size limit and a restriction on them being "single element"?
Paraphrasing a bit
There should be a fully legal off the shelf option for the 350z. The mounts are hard to make yourself because they normally need to go in the panel gap between the trunk and the rear quarters. If you are good with a 3d printer, you can probably download an airfoil and print it in 6" sections, then wrap it in carbon fiber or fiberglass for strength.
I can't help with anything but after much consideration and observation of the swan neck wing uprights, I have improved them with the Reverse Swan Neck.
