Having owned multiple first and second gens, the second console is so much better. Way more useable.

So, finally got the console mounted, a battery that holds a charge, and it cleaned up.
Went for dinner to munchkin favorite restaurant for a daddy daughter date.
Probably should mention that the list i mentioned in the last update, minus the alignment, got done too.
And im slowly collecting tires to bring the steelies back for something different for a while.

I try. Sometimes i feel like an oly semi-present dad. But, shes with me five days a week all day now. So i am blessed to have a lot of time with her, but need to be more intentional about QUALITY of time with her as well.
We're going to a cruise night Saturday. Her choice of car. This should be fun!
And i have no idea what car she will pick.

My only advice as a father is let your kid know that they are loved. I tell Lil Stampie that I love him multiple times a day and remind him that he's the most loved kid in the world often.
Ok not my only advice. From an early age he was told a correct answer to "Why?" from a parent is always "Because I said so." and "Because I love you."

The very fact she has a stable to choose from definitely makes you "Dad O' da Year"!!!!
and yes YU still ROCK........
I try to let her know i love her and enjoy her company many times a day. I try to show interest in her interests. Try to do things with her, and let her be her own person (within reason).
Doin the best i can, and praying its enough.
Thanks y'all.
All four steelies have used tires. Tine to test them when my lig nuts come in.
Not the optimal sizes, but good enough for a minute to see if i dig them as much now as i did at 22.
235/75/15 tear, 205/70.15 front. If i dig them, ill grab a set of 255/70/15&215/65/15 for it.
I think they take away from the "pro touring" look of the car, but they look great regardless. There was a local guy with a heavily modified '68 Cuda and he had the factory paint matched steelies widened quite a bit to keep the sleeper look. It was a sweet car.

It does. But im ok with that. Ive definitely wound up being more cruiser than pro touring at this point i think.
I like steelies, but if you're gonna put steelies on a Mopar, cop wheels are the way to go. Think they're wider, too, IIRC.
So, these are 15x7 steelies, with drill press cop car caps. Big enough for now. The cop car wheels were 15x8.
This is also a test run to see if i dig them as much as i think I will, both stylistically and handling wise. The ride CANT be worse.
Thats why it has "improper" sizes on it. Two rears were free, two fronts were $60. All have great tread, and the right diameters (more or less). This is as cheap of a makeover in style that you can get.
We're going to run it for a little while. See what i think.
I like them but not as much as the previous wheels. I really like the 17" Mopar Rallye wheels and think they would be perfect on your car.
Drove the car to lunch. Kids in the chick-fil-a thought it was awesome!
Red wheels still, and i think theyre coming back off. Just don't dig it as much as I thought I would.
I liked the torque thrusts better than the red wheels. I think those steelies would look better satin black or silver. Mag slots might even be the ticket.
