Try Roadcraft UK in Shoreham-By-sea, I will eventually need a new box for my 3rd Gen when the T5 cries enough. So will grab a T56 from him. Handy having the only Tremec dealer certainly in the country, maybe even Europe, on the same road as where you work!
Oh thanks, will take a look on their site, and while im at it, google where i can sell a kidney at. buying a new box will probs cost a forture, could ask if they have any used older stuff.
Spent the day doing some bodywork to the rear end, gonna start there and work forward. Had to grind back a lot of filler and fibreglass that had come away from the metal, then sanded down the rest of the upper wing and b-pillar, took most of the day, and i think i could rob a bank now as ive got no fingerprints left... Also found some different colours of paint under some of the filler, the original green i think, then some orange/red, black, silver, yellow and the silver. pretty cool, might help me in finding more info on the car, now i know the colours its been!
also pulled the front drivers brake hat and disk (rotor) to see what the hub was, does anyone recognise a hub like this, any way of knowing? its chevy pattern, and the studs are 1/2".

Hi
Just wanted to introduce myself as i am the current owner of this Camaro. Well we have managed to identify who raced the car back to 1973 in the US. We have however still have the 71/72 discoveries to be made. The car was painted all red in 71 raced and crashed in 72 front end and drivers sill replaced in 72/73 painted Blue at the front and yellow on the sides and rear, and was Raced by Bill Besarick in Trans Am and IMSA races. Bill then sold the car in 1974 to Bruce Waller and it was painted dark blue at the lower half and yellow on top. Bruce then uplifted the body to the 74 facelift Camaro and also ran in Trans Am and IMSA till late 77 when he sold it to Brian Rice who raced it in the UK in ASCAR, Thunder saloons and a few other bits. There are lots of very interesting chassis mods originally done to the car using the original GM Chaparral CAD designs eg Front clip modifications full exhaust tunnels cut through the floor pan and "GM special Knuckles" as seen in the last pictures. We have been documenting the restoration and are in contact with alot of the people who have restored these cars previously. Obviously we have a bit to go on the original builder of the car but we will get there if people want to see any of the restoration let me know on here and i will post it up.
If you have read this far then thank you and speak soon.
Cheers Richard
