A buddy of mine got a killer deal on this car, and due to having several projects its been passed on to me. When he picked it up the car had a chevy 350/350 combo that was pulled and sold. The cage needs redone, rear suspension needs done right so i can actually fit a tire under the car, and the windsor i have needs rebuilt. The plan is to re-ring and bearing the windsor, aluminium heads and intake, 750 holley, headers, and a 125 shot of spray. any input would be great. more pictures to come as the project moves forward.

In reply to mazdeuce: Thanks! Im headed to the shop this evening to start tearing down the motor. That should prove to be interesting since we rolled the motor over by hand and pumped out a gallon and a half of water.

You need to figure out how to post the pictures so that they show up directly in your post. Not that I won't click links too a pink drag car, I will, but it would be more convenient.

Are your plans to continue drag racing the car?

In reply to RossD: Yeah, it will be a track only car. Ill be running the windsor mentioned above, a C4 trans, and its already got a 3.73 posi 8.8 rear end from a v8 explorer. The cage needs some work as well as the rear suspension, but im thinking it should make a good first drag car.
Cool project. Keep us updated as you find the time.
...and it looks funny amongst all of those Mopars...
Glad to see you are putting a Ford engine back in there. What size Windsor?

In reply to bravenrace: it'll be a 351. but im replacing cubes with boost. im hoping for 800 hp on race gas.
The first thing you need to do is take more pictures and post them here, because that is a cool car.
I'll be following this build. Mustang IIs are unloved, but this one oozes style.
