Great, was going to say I could see them from my phone and my computer without issue. Now that's resolved do any of you have old Fiesta parts hanging around? :)

Afraid not, that was 15+ years ago. Sorry.

All I have left is a con-rod that exited the side of the block one day!

And to Tom's multiple roll that broke the BAT hubs, it was much worse to view from the outside than he experienced from the inside for the simple reason he know he was still alive in there, the rest of us weren't so sure.

Awesome idea...I'll be following. I had a 79 Fiesta i resurected from a 20+ stay in a garage into a daily driver. If it had a bigger gas tank and a better highway gearing, I might still have it. It was one of the more fun cars I've ever had.

As a 15.5 year old, my parents got me a 78 orange S. i thought it was the ugliest thing and don't know why I agreed to it as I had my heart set on a 1970-ish nova SS. But the fiesta had koni's, vdo gauges and awesome Cibie driving and fog lights and I learned to love that little pumpkin.

A few years later I met a guy who autocrossed in San Diego and picked his brain about what autocross was. I ended up campaigning my car for several years down at the stadium in San Diego until I had to sell it to buy a truck.

I miss that thing and all the weekends spent swapping out carburetors, removing bumpers, swapping wheels and tires and changing the alignment for the autocrosses.

Watching this build with much interest!

I'll make sure to snap a couple of the engine fitment and the interior tonight. Thanks for all the support guys and Dave thanks for the email hope to hear back from you!

If you're going to delete the bumpers, look into filling the front bumper holes with a pair of round marine lamps...there's a size that's readily available that's a near perfect fit and looks factory.

Updated the site and working on finding suspension parts!

Does anyone know if I can use the mk2 xr tiebar mounts on an mk1 to make more room for the transmission?

Hangman. And note the 1999 sleeper parked next to it :)

I though about doing that before I pulled the bumpers but decided if I end up rallying I may need to keep them to pass inspection.

I like old Fiestas and that yellow is a great color. I'll be watching this with interest.

Used to autocross with a genteman in Southern Oregon with a fiesta, Tony Boom. This was during the time I ran our '68 Sonett and then my '86 Yugo. He ran that car for a couple decades.
