I have always appreciated old Buick's. My dad drove them when I was a kid and I've always wanted a g body Regal. Having only owned imports I wanted to buy something domestic. After filings my taxes I did a quick search of Craigslist to see what I could spend my return on and found this 1985 Buick LeSabre Custom. It is all original and has the optional 5.0 olds V8 with 4 speed automatic. Previous owner was a little old lady with all the records of the work she's had done over the 17 years that she's owned. She was the second own and claims she bought it off of a little old lady. Mileage is claimed to be 59k and judging by the condition it may be plausible.
This will be my daily driver. The goal is to keep it all original with only a few improvements to handling and braking.
I used to have one of those in the diesel variety. That's a serious cruising machine.
The black guy in me approves of this purchase!
I like it. I had a 1980 Bonneville coupe with a 301 for a while. I regret selling it. At least nowadays you can buy replacement bumper fillers, back when I had mine you had to try and find decent ones in a junkyard which was near impossible.
Nice Buick! I see your ABS bumper fillers are long gone, as is normal.
Working AC? Also, you need whitewalls.
Wow very clean! Nice find. It pains me to say so but im almost 100% sure little old ladys are the best car owners around. They dont do unnessicarry mods or shoddy work, just drive to church and park in handicap spots at the grocery.

I had an 81 park avenue that my grandfather used to keep in florida in the winters. Wonderful long distance cruiser.
That is a nice buy for tax return money. I had a few friends in high school with g bodies. Pristine black/red Monte Carlo, brown Pontiac Bonneville, a light blue/black two-tone caprice, and a champaign caprice. Also had a good friend with a '90 red woody wagon crown vic. Good times
Being BeardedOne's brother and the one who had to check the car out because he had to work. This thing is a total time capsule. It brings me back to a being a kid sitting in my dads Buicks. A/c is ice cold and everything is there and works plus it drives like a dream.
This is way cleaner than my Cutlass. Nice find!
Wow, good find - last year of the B-body LeSabres. I agree that cop car chassis parts are the way to go.

Stock?! I haz the sad.
Seriously been wanting one of these g bodies after hearing all the talk about junkyard upgrades on grm and the only good build thread I can vicariously live through is bufords.
I hate to be that guy but I've seen it twice in this thread. The LeSabre is a B-body not a G-body. Someone had to say it.
