Thanks! I wanted a v8 car. Wanted one in this chassis and this was just the right way to do it I felt.

I just figured more people would be interested here. The starquest page has really died.

You're absolutely right, there's a reason I hardly visit there.

It's my second go with one of these chassis. The other one has a 500+hp 1jz in it.

Haha. Thanks man. I'm just honest and try to stay humble. This is a whole lot of firsts for me. I've never built a trans tunnel. Never built headers. Never built a steering system haha. It's all learning for me. I can certainly stick some metal together. But I wouldn't consider myself a "welder". But I can weld! Still so much work to get done, and it's cold as balls here which doesn't help much! It is getting there though!
Awesome job man. I have a habit of diving right into projects as well. I have a 2J powered Volvo right now. I think a Toyota previa is in my future. It's great that you are building what your buddy started. Keep up the good work

Hopefully it looks better when I'm finished!

It's wild how that works. I didn't mean to just dive in but here we are!! Haha
So my buddy has been making some videos of the build, he lives about 35 minutes away but he makes it up to keep up with progress! I'll try to remember to post them as we go!
Here is the first one.
