Not the best picture but I clay barred, polished and waxed the car.
Also thinking about painting the centers of the wheels a matte gray like a kinesis wheel. Thoughts?

Do it!
I kind of agree that matte gray will make the wheels blend in more, if that's what you want then go for it. I think I would go with gold or a light bronze to add a bit of contrast, but it's a pretty subjective thing.
Also I made a new intake.
Started with a PVC pipe conduit.
Trimmed off the top portion and painted it with some wrinkle paint. Add a K&N filter and a spectre 3 to 3.5 coupler done!
Nice use of wrinkle paint on the PVC. That's a pretty big relocation. Certainly seems like you'll be getting both higher pressure air and certainly cooler air.

I ordered a motion motorsports under tray. It should be here next week. It will replace the missing factory under tray and will provide a little protection from the elements.
The new intake sounds awesome! It's got a real deep growl now.
The supercharger kit on mine had the filter in the same place but had a shield in front of it, presumably to keep water and road debris out. Also IIRC there's a big rectangular opening in the front of the fender liner that lets air from that bumper hole into the wheel area. In my mind that was the perfect way for the front tire to splash water into the filter, I 3D printed a plug for the hole. Might be some things to consider doing especially if it's going to see any wet weather.

I had the same thoughts. Once I get the lower panel in I will figure out a way to accomplish it.
Drove the coupe to work this morning. Plenty of room for all my gear.
that intake is inspirational. did it come from the same race car parts shop i use?
is that the gear you use to negotiate all your various auto-related dealings? its probably effective.

Yes it was purchased across the street from your neighborhood.
That's for my "other job" when I am on call. I normally wear a t shirt for my day job.
Installed the fan today. It was a pain in the ass with the radiator in the car, but it is done.
...sort of I didn't have time to wire it fully. It is professionally installed to the battery and it is turned off and on by removing the fuse. After the autocross tomorrow I will wire it correctly.
You can see the wire by the washer fluid bottle, which I discovered leaks after I filled it with a gallon of new fluid yesterday... notice it is empty again.
I like the flat look of the wheels but it seems that starting on day 2 they will be perpetually dirty.
Shiny wheels are easier to clean.

I will try to grab a picture of the other two tomorrow. He has a gt3 and a turbo s as well. The silver one in the picture is a 2008 s.

My sentiments as well which is why I have held off on painting them for the moment.

Awesome! Nothing better than driveway porn!!
Met up with a couple buddies to caravan to the FIRM.
Got to ride in my friend's model three performance.
It was super impressive. All the torques and it seemed to be neutral and turned in well.
Unfortunately I am in the 4th run group so it will be a while till I get to see how the car does. Did I mention it is hot, Florida in July, ughhh!

I fit better than I expected with the helmet. The 500 treadwear lexani tires were not as terrible as I thought they would be.
The course was really fun, thanks for running a great event!
