Some of you might recall the original build Thread for this car
Thanks Fasted58
And most recently:
Thanks to a Tesla Y driver from Virginia that JUST had to MASH his brakes when the traffic started to slow but not stop from 75 mph during a beautiful NC Sunday ride on I77!!!!!
Phase #4 Starts Tomorrow with the excellent Crew at Xpress Body in the Mooresville NC @ the Drag Strip :

As well as installing this stack of parts:
Thank you Sir
Will get Matt and Team to document and share as they "follow the Yellow Brick road to the Land oc OZ"
Son is laid up with major knee surgery so he, like myself, will be viewing from afar

Project Start Delayed due to lack of chase Car Driver to assist in delivering to Matt and the Xpress Body Team in Mooresville, NC.

I rode in my coworker's Tesla exactly once. It, the car, slammed on brakes twice hard enough to lock up the seat belts twice on a relatively short, 30 minute trip to a client site. He said that it had been doing it since the last update. It's a software glitch, a bug. Fun, aye?
Delivered 2005 Mustang to Matt at Xpress Body and Paint in Mooresville, at lunch time
Matt noticed the hot rod is hurt more than initially thought
Grill Broken
Grill Mounting points broken / twisted
Rear bumper pushed in on right side (Never knew we were hit from behind)
However, Matt and the Team will get the hood mounted, grill replaced, front and rears bumper covers painted.
Along with the mechanical upgrades
Thanks Matt and the Team at Xpress Paint and body
The story continues
Dropped the Front Wheels off at NTB this AM to get the 265 x 35 x 20" Nitto G2 555s
The beads were mangled, like someone had mounted them with a crow bar, then took them off.
Local dealer is ordering 2 replacements.
More Fun
Dropping a Christmas list of parts, for someone else to install...GOALS!! Curious how you intend to use the car when its done? Also curious why you chose the gt500 6 pistons over the s550? Piecing together parts to install the s550 6 pistons on my s197 and want to make sure I'm not missing something! You've spent some time on these cars.
Thanks for checking
Matt and Team at Xpress Paint and Body are full service.
They do the body work, and help installing the hardware to upgrade the 05
Car will continue to be a Weekend Toy
Track Night at Charlotte, SCCA Tine Trials, maybe a trip to Nevada for the Silver Challenge
I believe we did choose the s550 Brembos
Left: MOTORCRAFT BRCF431
Right: MOTORCRAFT BRCF430

That article has been my guide! Feeling better about it now! I clearly misread your parts list. Intrigued by the build nonetheless!
Seems as though this 05 Has a slightly different rear bumper mount and the Watson Bar is not quite a good fit, The current location is directly in line with the License plate light. Hmmmmmmmm
