This is our build thread that will document our progress on our 87 Integra. We aren’t going to be doing the usual pictures with text, instead we are making videos to document our progress. Here is the first two videos of our progress so far. New videos to come soon. Stay tuned.

Sweet car. Those seem to have all disappeared.
Thanks for watching. They are getting pretty scarce. We were lucky to find this one.
Ya I saw 87 and thought and thought it was a mistake! Cool to see one getting built.
I drove a red '87 GS in college (late '90s)....Put 230k miles on it and the only things it ever had replaced was 1 clutch, 1 fuel injector, and 1 CV axle!
Yeah, Hondas are pretty reliable. Thanks for watching y'all.

Awesome! For some reason that era of integra is my favorite. Looking good!

It is probably the pop up headlights that make it so cool.

Haha, not that we know of but it sure was filthy.
My best friend had one of these in HS. I was sad when I heard he sold it, even though it was flooded several times.
Don't have time to watch videos - recommend writing a build thread. Much quicker to consume.

I think you are exactly right. Pop up lights are awesome.
also yeah some detail pics and more explanation written out about stuff would be cool, but i like the videos too.
Sorry guys, we don't have any plans to do a typical build thread/write up/how to or whatever you would like to call it. Everything we are doing to the car has been well documented on redpepperracing.com and g1teg.org. Our goal with the videos is more of a blog type post to entertain others. However we will be getting more detailed with the next videos as we have a ton of parts to install on the car. We hope you continue to watch and enjoy our videos.
New video is up. In this episode we install new bushing in the sub frame, new front and rear wheel bearings, and much more.

In this episode we install the brakes, new shifter bushings, and a few interior pieces. There is also a good chunk of video about the engine in this episode.

Its been a while but we a back with a new video. Will we get this engine to run by the end of this episode? Watch and find out.

You can weld the rear sway bar solid (it's a torsion bar inside the solid axle - you weld the bar TO its bracket) to gain quite a bit more rotation. Doesn't cost much at all.
I put one of those engines into a 1979 civic in 2000
In reply to SkinnyG :
Yes we are aware of the different ways to stiffen the rear. For now we are just gona install an external rear sway bar but we haven't made any final plans as to what to do with the rear torsion sway bar.
