Picking this up from the thread for my good Miata: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/build-projects-and-project-cars/things-i-do-with-my-96-miata/52556/page2/
I don't want anyone thinking I have the same total lack of respect and care for that one as I do for this one
Short summary: I bought this POS '94 M Edition for it's torsen and not much else. Then I parked both Miatas for the winter. Then I thought "hey, it would be fun to drive that POS around in the snow!" so I dug it out and have quite enjoyed it!

Now picking up where I left off in the other thread...
It got warm(ish)! 40's in January! Top down.
Though it did also create some pretty horrific road conditions Saturday morning, and I had a bit of an interesting trip down an interstate on-ramp. 35mph, black ice, loooong slide, 4 or 5 spins, guard rail. It was so slippery I could barely stand up when I got out of the car.
Glad it was minor and it happened in the parts car!
From this weekend:
Turns out that ice time trials in a Miata without studded tires is the BEST game ever.
This was an officially unofficial non sanctioned "event". Some organization, but a pretty loose ship.
(junkyard tail light installed)
Thoroughly beached it in one snowbank a couple times
But most of the weekend looked like this (not my photo obviously)

Excellent weekend, the car took it like a champ. Hopefully I'll update with more photos if they become available.
Only one slight issue with having the top down all day was that, by the end of the day it was slightly frozen there. Destroyed the plastic window putting it up, then found the vinyl was too stiff and i couldn't latch it. The 35 mile drive home feels a little longer when it's snowing and you can't put the top up, but it was almost worth it just for the looks I got at the drive thru
Freakin' awesome! Man, sometimes I really wish I lived somewhere that got a real winter with lots of snow. But then I remember that I get off of work when we get even a dusting around here.
Heh, I HATE winter but this is definitely a redeeming quality.
To pull out an old chestnut:
