Big fan of you abandoning gastropods in favor of purple crack.
That nitrous bottle has been to the top of Mt. Washington.

Wednesday afternoon. I’m hoping for a couple hours on the car and a couple hours on the golf cart then just hang out
it leaks a bit of oil from the cooler gasket, i’ll bring gaskets but if it’s a pain i’m going to ziptie a diaper on it and deal with it later.
In reply to Patrick :
We're not getting there until Thursday morning. Still up for wrenching if there's anything left.
Anyone have 17” mercedes wheels super cheap? I found a set of 245/40/17 A7’s locally but don’t want to go overboard for wheels/tires i’ll use once
There's this on local CL.

I can hit the junkyard next Friday also. They have a bunch of MB.

Nah I’m not letting those drag radials dry out in my basement. I’m going to see what a stupid deal on a $71000 car plus some sticky tires and laughing gas adds up to versus me putting many hundreds of hours into something
In reply to 759NRNG :
Challenge budget minus $200 drag radials, nitrous, and potential used a7's.
I'm going with stupid cheap

Unbeevabull!!! and these are somewhat 'readily' available......know a guy that knows a guy?
Officially have 800 in budget to work with provided i can find cheap 17” wheels. I found a set for 200, i think i can do better.
Drag radials were less than 200, but I didn’t get a receipt so i will use the screenshot and they’re half of my first 4 tires free anyway so no matter. I got them, 28x11.5x16 hoosier slicks and 22x4x17 Goodyear frontrunners for $425. I sold the slicks for $325 and have to ebay the goodyears but will be net of probably negative $200 on the drag radials.
nitrous was $90ish
2 r500 18x8 wheels for the drag radials $90 shipped
1 coil and 16 plugs $90 from rock auto
$40 for lug conversion studs and nuts(budget neutral)
$30 wheel spacers that likely are unnecessary
If i buy the $200 wheels i will be under $1750 all in challenge budget and right around 2000 total.

The trunk’s probably big enough to bring “all the nitrous” for OneLap.... dunno if the motor could take that kind of abuse?

There's a lack of info in both ads, but they might work.

99% certain the last E55 AMG on OLOA popped a motor. If I remember correctly it was the guys that then bought the P71 from the cop school and finished the event in it. They were pushing a bunch more air through the motor though.
In reply to mazdeuce - Seth :
I’m pretty sure that’s the second E55 to pop in that manner at OneLap as well, iirc.
