Well I guess that didn't last long. Bringing home a new economy box tomorrow. In the form of a 2005 Prius. That will be for the school run, since it's twice daily at 40 miles round trip. I'll generally take over the 5, zoom zoom, and the truck will stay mostly in the garage for the foreseeable. Which puts the little oil burner on the sales block. Should be able to clear enough to completely cover the Prius. So the cool part is I've basically traded from a free car up twice for zero cost. A fellow could do worse.

They are really good at one thing: fuel economy.
Hit me up if you need anything.

Thanks. Its belonged to a coworker for a few years, and a former coworker of his before that. Toyota employees all the way back. In the last 5, it's had a battery, brake actuator, and inverter. We plan to just stack miles. AC has a slow leak, but not sure where so I'll add dye when we charge it this afternoon. Fingers crossed for cheap and easy.
If driving habits stay regular, we'll be saving 100-150/month in fuel. Depending on how much I get for the xB, the fuel savings should pay for the car well inside a year.
