Due to some employment issues, my progress had been halted for a year and a half. But this summer I've managed to get quite a lot done. Here are some pics.

Dad stopped by to help.

I have an unhealthy obsession with decals.

At my first 2013 track day

Made my headlights white for no reason and went to track day #2.

More decals. (don't judge me! heh)

List for 2014.

The three stages it's gone through since I bought it when I was 18.

Looks good, these have always intrigued me. I like the white wheels against the blue. Although I think it looked better without the spoiler.

Looks like fun! I test drove one of these when they first came out. I loved the 2ZZ and the fairly light weight, but the aesthetics and ergonomics weren't quite right for me. How is it to drive at the track?

@m n d s m, I used regular white spray paint. Although after tracking it, the white turned more into a dirty tan. I asked the manufacturer of the stencils how they tackled the problem and they had no real fix. Scrubbing it off periodically and respraying is likely the 'solution' there.

@ae86andkp61, This is a 2zz to clarify. I've done some weight reduction to it (gutted the inside from the seats back, light wheels, carbon fiber hood, back seat delete, took spare tire and jack out). It drives wonderfully at the track, in no small part because of the Nitto NT01s. The car is so light that i don't need much braking-- i brake late and get on the gas soon. I out-performed a Mercedes C300, Rousche Mustang, and M6 (in the drizzle) and i was super excited about that. Mind you they were amateur drivers but it was only my third time at the track so i was ecstatic. Those tires really felt like a cheat code, though. My instructor told me i had a better line than anyone else on track and he thanked me for not follow other peoples' lines because they were sloppy. Anyways, the car is great fun on the track, i absolutely love it. I'm anxious to see how my Accent is going to measure up.

Hows the moroso pan, I've heard mixed reviews. any seepage/fitment issues?

Initially it did leak. There are ports for an oil cooler which have plugs in them. They were not tight when i got it and i really should have checked, but i just figured they'd be tight enough from the manufacturer. I had to drain the pan, and put some putty on the plugs and tighten them. No problems since.

There was a bit of a fitment issue as well, there was a cover over my flywheel and once the oil pan was installed, that cover wont fit, so there is a small area of my flywheel which is visible.
