Couldn't resist messing with it more. While shaving it I broke this little clip.
After some practice it's fixed. Not pretty but fixed.
Here's where I'm relocating it.
Tacked in.
After welding all around it. I also found a discarded cut off zip tie. That plastic melted quicky so I used it as filler.
This is what not to do. This was a small hole so instead of cutting a plug to fit I decided to build up the inside using melted plastic. As you can see the edges failed.
So I went around the edges melting them together. Also filled more in the middle.
Now ground down I have pinholes to fill but you can't see the edge's outline anymore so it's melted together.
In reply to TVR Scott :
Sorry my granddad didn't teach me cool plastic welding like back filling with nitrogen but I wonder if I can touch it with my torch and fill those now.
In reply to Stampie :
shadow horns are subtle but noticeable to those who know what we're looking at
We decided to try what I'm calling the Brownstone trick. Hard to take a picture while doing it but here's the results.
Here's a simulation of what I did.
In reply to Stampie :
I used to do a little but the little wouldn't do it so the little got more and more. Just keep tryin' to get a little better, said a little better than before....
In reply to 759NRNG (Forum Partidario) :
No I suck. Also saw something about later manifolds looking better. Reminds me to research that some.

In reply to 759NRNG (Forum Partidario) :
No I'm told that I'm better off sticking to this one. Translated that means Patrick told me to stop being a pansy and finish it. Well but nicer.
In reply to Andy Neuman :
No problem. I'll even give you 10% of my hourly rate.
In reply to Patrick:
I know.

I might be in a position to rub on her and take pictures for you tomorrow. Anything in particular that you want to see?
In reply to Indy "Nub" Guy :
