Finally got my dream car last year and had to tidy a few little things up...
Shes a 1989 JDM Spec Mini 1000
This adventure has been sooo much fun, I've made so many great friends over the past year while I've redone her. She's only really been on the road for 4 weeks and already taken my family of 4 on a 100 mile round the state (I live in RI) trip with out a hickup and lots of great smaller trips for coffee and sunsets. I'm so in love with her.

It's a Wolsey Hornet, but close enough. My buddy Matt's , with a later MG Metro 1275 lump that's had a lot of love and is an absolute stormer!

Picture proves you can fit a lot of car in the garage if they are small enough!
Your work is great! The car looks so clean from here.
And there's a Mini pickup in the driveway now? What??

I'm not sure the make, bought them from a friend, but debating selling them as they don't quite fit my frame.

Yup, my buddy Matt has an awesome collection of mini's and mini based vehicles.
The Pup is D series honda powered.
Did anyone else notice the RHD to LHD conversion on the Mini along with associated brake booster delete?
Very cool and definitely a more period look under the hood in keeping with the exterior mods.

thanks, was a lot of fun. Dug through my collection of MiniWorld mags from the 90's and 00's for inspiration.
WOW ! Next to that truck, it looks like a kid's toy. Mines currently in a tent and takes up the whole thing so . . . it kinda looks "normal
sized.
Car next to truck is larger than a Mini, that is an Austin America. One size larger, but mechanically interchangeable.

Mostly, we did find that the front indicators fit Whosley Hornets and the front inner door handles fit Auzzie doors. The front suspension uses similar mounting points and could be used to make a wide track mini if one desired.
"that is an Austin America" Oh yeah, I didn't look closely enough as I was SO taken by the size difference. A friend had an Austin A40, my first introduction to the Small British Car. My parents drove an Austin A35. sort of my first introduction to a somewhat less than Small British Car. As a kid, it seemed perfectly normal sized.
