Nitto NT05? Opinions? Would 195 50 15 be better?

2-3 HPDEs, a few AX, driven daily

Yokohama S-Drives or Advan A008R...better quality & and grip than Nitto for the price

Mostly I have Discount Tire Direct credit card and buy tires with it because of the specials. The Nittos are about $106. These are my options.

Interesting assortment. Nittos did look like good bang for the buck, as did the Kumhos...FWIW, I've had several sets of Kumhos in various sizes & specs. Like the Yokohamas, always had good luck with them as well.

Some things to keep in mind when purchasing new tires... Ask yourself: How much tire do I really need? If there are similiar cars at your autocross event, what are the fast guys running? Compare the weights of the tires....a lighter tire will always spin up faster and usually balance out better. As you're only looking to go up one size, I think you'll be just fine and those tires should fit fine and yet still keep the car fun to drive.
