Quite a while ago, I bought a '58 Ladawri Conquest, and have since purchased a C2 frame and associated 327.  I'm starting into the buuild/rebuild in earnest now and am looking for tech tips, advice, pearls of wisdom, and creative nudges.

My first couple of build vids are here:

This is a fiberglass bodied car that sits on the chassis of your choice, and mine has the perfect length for a peer-Corvette.  I intend to go with mechanicals from a C2, mostly because they're relatively easy to find, and tech advice doesn't reside in a small handful of experts.

Just watched your videos on this. I will be following this build!

What does this use for a windshield?

55-59 Chevy truck windshield flipped over so the vertical part lays horizontally

. One of my buddies has a very similar LaDawri body, maybe a Daytona? The grille is different but the rest is pretty much the same

Yes indeed, an upside down windshield. I'm working on getting the body attached to the frame so that I can rig up the radiator and gas tank. I want to be able to start the engine on a regular basis, if nothing more than to keep things limbered up.

Figuring things out and how to customize everything will be the long pole.  Getting things actually done won't be tough.
