Sweet! 911's look great in white, 964's included.
How do you know it was owned by THE Gene Hackman? Maybe there's one of his old, chewed-up pencils in the glove box!
Very cool. Gene is a local guy, born and raised in Danville, IL just down the road from me(also home of Dick Van Dyke). While I've never met him, I've heard he's a real down-to-earth guy.

I have receipts from him, addresses and names match his new mexico home- etc...
Cool! It looks like it's in really great shape.
I can't see the pictures because of work but cool (back) story, bro!

Wow--that is a GOOD get. Congrats.
That's like the John Voight LeBaron!
Awesome - congrats! Hope to see you at a local event with it one of these days! :)
What a great looking car. To me the 964 is one of the nicest 911s.

Amazing car, my favorite generation of 911! Definitely post a video or sound clip of the exhaust when you get that done..

all these porsche build threads are making me salivate for a 968 again. I know its not as cool as a late 911 but it's more in my price range, which is why I own things like datsuns and audis. . . . awesome car, I dont see the white ones as much seems like.

Drove it home 500 miles on saturday. Car is cleaner then I thought it would be. Tight and shockingly fast. She's sitting in upstate NY @ a storage place while I get all the papers in order... Sooo happy.

Also broke the inner CV when I launched maybe a little too hard. $115 to replace and 30 min later I was good. Easy car to work on thus far and surprisingly cheap.
Family shot.
You must not have noisy blower motors.
They are fantastic to drive aren't they?
So where's the kryptonite?
has bent up golf clubs w/ it?
Beautiful. Curious - I think I see a late model STI there. How does the driving experience compare?
I don't generally like white cars, but that is an awesome 964! Do want!!
