Still loving the car, and am trying to get my Challenge project running, so I can get the Lexus in the garage for some fluid changes, and maybe deal with the HVAC blend doors.
I could use a taillight, but I think 99 is before they refreshed them, so it wouldn't match.
Great, now I'm looking at CL for GS's in my area. This won't end well.

It's an interesting car. Lots of luxury (for 2001), gobs of smooth power, great highway manners. It's not as sporty as the sportiest midsizers, but it's not a couch on wheels, like an ES, either. I suspect it didn't sell great, as it's not really what most people expect from Lexus. Not to mention, IIRC, it was considerably more expensive than the similarly sized ES in the same showroom.
