So you all do like, Great, he is here in Georgia local to this area, and he really isn't that expensive, The Lace on the sides looks really Cool, the endless lines are really well done, the Polka dots are Neat they make me want a slice of Wonder Bread( older Guy's will get this) I wanted to get the Pics Larger but maybe next time, I am still learning and really My Grandson posted these. I will ask Lance the Guy's Name, I think he deserves Kudo's
Aahh yes. Wonder bread, PB&J were the packed school lunch specials. You know what, I may go make a choke and slide sandwich for lunch.
The combination of schemes doesn't really work for me personally, but I do think it is wonderfully executed. Any detail pictures of the sides?
This kind of paint work is exactly what I wanted to do for a living, and why I went to a trade school for auto body classes! Too bad I'm color blind.
In reply to Crackers: Sorry just those for now, But lace it is, and Over done is period correct. also BB427 /4 speed and those are REAL Magniesum front wheels. and lot of other period correct parts as the Group He races with are Sticklers for that. He even has a Metalflake Helmet
In reply to 759NRNG: I think he's going to stay Clear for now but the future is .............the future
So this is a new build, and not a car that was built and painted 40 years ago? It looks like he captured the era pretty well.
My brother in law had a body shop back in the early 70s, he turned out a lot of lace paint jobs and such. It's fun to see that style and era brought back.
His Wife does the White knee high Boots and Houndstooth Mini Skirt at the Start line. They Have A BUNCH of them that Tour Around here , really popular and very strict set of rules to keep them Vintage, but Gassers ya know, just keep it old.
I want paint like that on a challenge car.
However, at this point id settle for no runs and a shine.....
