But i got the bonus gift of tuberculosis as well!
So yours may be better than mine...
Interior work done in between hospital and work today. Nothing left but the hvac box in there. Still haven't figured out how to get the shift cables out of the floor though.

My memory is a little fuzzy, but there's the rubber thing that they go through, right? There are a couple large-ish machine screws that come up from the underside of the car, if I'm remembering correctly.
Wae: thanks! I saw some threads coming upwards through the floor, but didn't think anything of them.
Ill look at that tomorrow.

If it is inconvenient to find/reach the fasteners cut a big chunk of tin out where the cables go through the floor. The shell is scrap when you get done anyway.

I honestly hadn't thought about that! Thanks
Couldn't sleep after leaving the hospital last night. So i did some more.
Screws hold the cable/gromit from underside of car.
Cool. Enginewill be out tonight, and then i can move the car to finish getting exhaust out of the way. Should see them then.
Hoping to call the scrapper tomorrow night after work and make the carcass go away.
I feel that was harder than it really needed to be.
However, next one should be easier now that i have practice....
At that angle, with that lighting, that's a pro-shop looking shop.

Shell should be gone in the morning. Scrapper is supposed to be here about 8. And hes going to help me push the r/t into the shop.

Reman or junkyard tag? Yes. which one? The paint makes me think JY, but that is just a guess I have seen the heat sensitive tags on both.
Lack of decent paint on block plus scribbled paint pen mark makes me think JY.
Yup. Agreed. Or a reman with a metric berkeleyload of miles. But probably junkyard.
Hopefully it will be squeaky clean by nightfall tomorrow
Im letting them get acquainted before the arranged marriage.
As a more important note, my wife did the snoopy dance while the rollback was here. Parts car is GONE.

Or more importantly, less chance of her murdering me in my sleep.
The dirty ass gates blue belt makes me cringe.
This whole car is FILTHY.
White shows it all. Going to have a lot of cleaning ahead of me.
Unlikely she'll kill you until after your mess is cleaned up. Women tend to be smart that way. (I stay alive that way LOL)
