Okay, it's a long one, but it is so worth it. It's a real-deal 1960 Plymouth Fury model from JoHan that was actually molded in 1960 and was built up way back in the day. It was remarkably preserved and complete, so I decided to give it a go on restoring it on camera. The results were better than anything I could have possibly hoped for! Trust me, this is a really good video:
I remember having a few Jo-Han models back in the day, although most of mine were AMT with a few Revell thrown in.
If you like 1960 Plymouths, you should watch the YouTube videos from coldwarmotors: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3naAFlKUN6ch8jaT92XqbsNxUNW5RqNH He's doing an epic restoration of a 1960 Fury, where he mates the body with a floorpan and drivetrain from a 1960 Dodge.
I was skeptical at first, but that model looks outstanding! Also, cool video.

Thank you! I put so much time and effort into this one. I left over 2 hours of footage on the cutting room floor.
My first car was a two door Plymouth Suburban wagon. Same color as this, only with more rust.
Can't wait to see your video.
In reply to Floating Doc :
That wagon is sweet! Now I kinda want to rip the model apart and convert it...
