New (better) track prep... meets 'Prep' tune-up.... meets 'No Prep' set-up ...equals ouch.

I am still sore and bruised. We will probably order the new oil pan tonight.
Along with wheelie bars or are you going to build your own?
With as well as it hooked up, I'd guess this will be a reoccurring issue. Not a bad issue to have IMHO.

Thanks for posting it up to YouTube... FB.watch has the most awful interface, and doesn’t re-download to a higher res once it’s selected.

I watched your video very close and zoomed in. The light tree sequence is different than I expected.
Instead of yellow 1 then 2 then 3 before green it appears that all 3 yellow went on at once then green. I'm no drag expert but have probably made 50 quarter mile pass in my life and not seen this sequence. Is it a 1/8th mile thing?

That would explain why I then had not seen before. I'm nowhere near being a pro.
In reply to John Welsh :
I guess you haven't been watching the DragWeek livestreams all that closely? They also use a ProTree timing setup... which adds a dimension to the Street Eliminator class.
Unfortunately we had sprinkled a little too much "Send Dust" into the Nova for the final and I had to abort the mission shortly after take off. Missed out on a $2000 payout but had a great time.
If anyone is questioning if you are getting all that power to the track, you can refer them to Webster's dictionary where this picture is posted under the word "hooked". Most people dream of getting that kind of launch so yeah, total send. Bummer you missed out on the $2k but you have a great picture and no doubt and even better story to go with it.
Recently we took the Supercharger off and installed twin GT3582 62 MM turbos. 741 HP with (7) new items to be complete before the next session. We need a tighter converter, bigger turbine housings, more fuel pump, bigger fuel line, crankcase vent, electric water pump and to fix the alternator. Hope to see North of 800 next time out.
