Howdy, all! I'll start off by saying I'm not typically great with forums, but I'll do my best to keep up here.

Picked up an old ASA Speedtruck that has been converted for road course use. Got a pretty good deal on it since one of the con rods decided to take the day off. Probably going to go with a nice 383 to replace it, but in the mean time, enjoy the carnage and cleanup of some cool parts.

Truth be told.  Kudos to those rod bolts

#6 too scared to come back down

Spot the difference

Somehow, the heads survived (probably) with only one bent valve and a this new custom 30 degree pushrod. Damage was pretty much limited to the short block, and my nice Canton pan.

Comes with a Racetronix Alternator/Waterpump

Thanks for watching!

Nice find. I, too, will be looking forward to your progress. Do you know who built the chassis?

In reply to J.A. Ackley :

I don't know exactly, no. There are two of them, maybe three, here in AZ that have been converted to Road Course use. Just need to move the a-arm mounts on the left a little bit, change some springs, and put in a different transmission. Probably about a hundred other things I'm not thinking of also, but I don't have to worry about those because they are already done!
